As with any unplanned change, there are always aftershock waves and then there is recovery. With the COVID-19 unplanned changes in our business and lives, we continue to encounter the aftershocks of extended impact on the economy, our spiritual, mental and physical health of our lives as well as our ability to provide in and through our business. There will continue to be unfortunate effects that will impact the people we know and love. And yet, more TP is not the answer. (I am still trying to reconcile this.)

Do you have a strategy for your life and business?

Consider the following as a starting point for an "Aftershock Strategy".

Use our B.O.L.D.E.R. strategy.

Today: Begin with the end in mind.

  1. What is the purpose of your life?
  2. Are you spiritually grounded for eternity or lost in fear of what may be next?
  3. Why are you in business?
  4. Are you adequately meeting those relational needs immediately in your  life?
  5. Why is your product or service valuable?
  6. What is the absolute bare minimum required to deliver that service or product value?
  7. How will you retain and reassure your customers and family?
  8. Where do you go for spiritual security in an uncertain time?

No matter the size, small, medium or large business, you must begin with the end in mind. Approach this like any other new concept implementation and you will have a head start on your competitors and be started on your "Aftershock Strategy".

Bob Smyth: "Leadership trumps management and leads by example. Helping people change with confidence."
